iniobong frank, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Iniobong Etim Frank is the Executive Director of Women United for Economic Empowerment (WUEE), a non-governmental organization in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria. Mrs. Frank has the full responsibility of directing, managing, and training the staff of the organization. Mrs. Frank has worked and managed non-governmental organizations for over sixteen years. Mrs. Frank has directed and managed many research grants particularly HIV/AIDS-related grants. Prior to her position with WUEE, she has held many key administrative positions in the State Ministry of Health and the Mobile Producing Nigeria Unlimited.

Mrs. Frank earned a Bachelor of Science (Hon) Degree in Sociology and Anthropology, in 1997 from the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, and a Master of Science Degree in Management from the University of Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria. Mrs. Frank has many noble accomplishments, including the National Coordinator of UN Global Partnership to End Child Marriage in Nigeria, and the Nigerian Cherie Blair Foundation for Women Program in Nigeria. She also earned Fellow status in many outstanding organizations such as the African Leadership Program (2006), Center for Development and Population Activities (CEDPA, 2010, 2011), and the US Presidents Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) Health Professional Fellowship Program.

Mrs. Emem Ekong is one of the pioneer staff of Women United, has B.Sc. in Sociology Anthropology. She is the Finance and Grant Officer and head of the accounting unit.

Mrs. Ekong has capacity training and experience in commercial and charity finance, financial management, donor grant management and administration. She is a board member of Dynamic Youth Development organization and the Women Initiative for Self-Actualization. Mrs. Ekong is also an alumna of Cherie Blair Foundation.

Mrs. Mfon Bassey has expertise in project management, policy formulation and analysis, strategic development planning, and monitoring and evaluation (M&E). She has coordinated and managed public and private programs for local and international organizations for over nine years in Nigeria.

She holds a Higher National Diploma in Business Administration/Management, has several other certificates in Data Quality, Gender and Sexual Reproductive Health, M&E Fundamentals, Maternal, and Child Health, Gender and M&E.

Mrs. Bassey is a member of M&E Professionals and an alumnus of the Cherie Blair Foundation.
